I found Clear Debt and especially Dave Jackson extremely sympathetic and professional about my situation. My debt was caused many years ago when I borrowed money against a life style that ended after being made redundant, very quickly creditors were contacting me every day with demands the stress on myself and my family was unbearable and eventually my marriage broke down. I made the tough decision to contact clear debt and at the time went onto a debt management programme, because of my income it was the best option at the time, almost straight away the letters and demands stopped and suddenly I was no longer frightened to open the mail or answer the door. Dave Jackson recently contacted me to review my case and went through a number of options, at this stage I was feeling I would be in debt the rest of my life and I discussed about bankruptcy, after going through all options I decided that an IVA was the best route for me. The paperwork was very easy and Dave and his team went through things with me step by step. I now look forward to 5 years time when for the first time in well over a 15 years I will be debt free and will be able to get my life back.
