Nice and quiet rooms, especially quiet on the garden side, very nice and welcome staff, incredible many options for the breakfast (prepared on request). Perfect stay in Bath not right in the center, that is to say not in the touristic noises and excitation.

A fantastic place to stay. Stylishly decorated. Feels like home. Beautiful ensuite room, every detail attended to. Delicious breakfast with a range of hot and cold choices.

Exceptionally clean. Extremely attractive, beautifully maintained rooms. Very good breakfast - cooked to your liking - I like the bacon a little more crisp - no problem. I like rather strong coffee - no problem. Staff friendly and very helpful. Rooms one and two on the ground floor probably the best - otherwise a bit of a climb. I can only suggest one thing - as a somewhat disabled elderly gent I would have appreciated a grab handle in the shower.

Cranleigh was a great place to stay. Rooms were well appointed and beautifully clean and tidy. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic - amazing what great service and extra toast can do to a review. However, the best thing was the really genuine help about what to see and do in Bath and how to get around. Could not have asked for anything more. Will be heading back sometime soon.

This was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and had lots of information concerning the area. The room was very clean and had added extras which were very appreciated when suffering a headache! We were told to enjoy afternoon tea and cakes which were a surprise and much enjoyed after a walk to bath. Breakfast was also awared 10 out of 10 and the choice of food was very good. We will definitely be returning again, it was a wonderful stay.

The Guest House was a bit far from the City Centre for some people. The Double Room no 2 would benefit from a mirror in the Bathroom. The Staff was Helpful and the Breakfast was excellent.

I enjoyed my stay immensely and Cranleigh went the extra mile to make that happen . I booked a single room for 3 nights. I am a fairly tall chap , and the management , proactively ,and at no extra cost changed my room to a double room t,he next day ,which was very spacious and tastefully decorated . The breakfast was excellent and very filling . I started work everyday in the city centre very early in the morning . The cranleigh staff were very understanding and flexible in preparing a coked breakfast at 7:30 am. A big thank you!!

Took the girlfriend for May weekend for three nights excellent B&B the little extras infancy bits in the room was nice the food good. If I had to pick a fault it would be the parking I was lucky but not a lot of car parking space other than that it was great

lovely house, very helpful proprietors, gorgeous room, biggest bed we have slept in a long time. Bliss! A very varied and substantial breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Very easy to get into the center of Bath by bus. All in all a truly wonderful stay, wish it could have been longer

My wife and I were visiting from the States and started in London. We took the train to Bath and rolled ourselves and bags about 1.5 miles to Cranleigh on a perfect Easter afternoon. The B&B was just great. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts could not have been nicer. We had a tour of the Roman Baths (2 hrs) and a climbing tour of the Bath Abbey (1 hr) which I highly recommend. My only regret was that the trip could not have been extended. The room was lovely in all ways.

It was a nice welcome place to stay. I do not normally bother writing reviews but I enjoyed the friendly homely environment that you do not get from a hotel. Do not get me wrong you are left to do what you want to do but there is the added extras ie DVDs in the hall way you can use, fresh milk in the fridge in the dinning room you can take to your room for your coffee/tea. Also tea/coffee services in the dinning room in the afternoon for guest all at no extra cost. All the little extras you would not get at a normal hotel, or you would get but at extra cost. Very clean environment even though we had the standard room. It had made me want to go to more bed and breakfast than run of the meal hotels. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to others.

We have just come back from the cranliegh in bath'it was a lovely stay' gorgeous victorian building, every were is spotlessly clean our bedroom was warm n cosy with a big comfortable bed with lovely drapes' the en'suite was spotless and a good shower with plenty of towels. They even thought of the litle things like if you needed sewing kit ,and toothbrush and hairdryer. The breakfasts were plentiful with a good choice on the menu, the only downside was although they have parking space at the back but it goes down a very narrow road unless you have a smallish car you might struggle'you could park on the road if you are lucky to get a space. Enjoy!!!

We visited at short notice because one of our relatives was in RUH. The welcome was excellent, we were not in the happiest frame of mind, but everyone was very respectful and helpful. They even pointed us at some places to eat close by so that we didn't need to search or be far from the hospital. Excellent, hopefully we can revisit in better circumstances.

These people make this a real home from home. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed and breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. Despite turning up unexpectedly early to drop items off we were welcomed and given every assistance.

We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. Rooms are lovely and clean, all you could want TV, DVD player (a selection of DVD's to watch) tea and coffee making facilities. nice comfy bed. Breakfast ..lots of variety we went for the full english every time. The hotel is situated just outside of Bath, and its a good 30 minutes walk into bath, but we just took the car in and parked in the long stay carpark, £8.50 for the entire day well the ticket expired the following day, we thought it was reasonable. All in all a fantastic stay, great hospitality, only down side was we had to come home. We would recommend this hotel and would love to go back!!
