Thanks Netty & thanks Maui Palms!!!

First I want to thank Netty, Mana in fact everyone at Maui Palms for an amazing stay that was able to re-energise me, my wife and our marriage in just 4 days.

Recently extreme deadlines at work had meant the stress was making me feel so down that it was effecting my home life. I'd even started to snap at my wife a couple of time over minor things. We decided to book a holiday away but rather than one of those trips where you return home feeling you need a holiday after you get home, we decided on a 10 day holiday in Fiji to relax.

After search the web and we found several places including Maui Palms. Rather than stay in one place we decided to stay at a resort for 6 days and Maui Palms for 4 amazing nights. We booked Maui Palms directly through their web site and received a slight discount on the advertised rate, which was a bonus.

Before leaving my wife Kim was searching the web and saw articles referring to floods in Nadi but since we'd already booked there was nothing we could do now. But on arriving we found no evidence of floods,especially in the Coral Coast where Maui Palms is.

Maui Palms had arranged transport from the resort for us and we were met up by a smiling, enthusiastic Netty saying"BULA" and "WELCOME HOME". I don't know what it is about some people that they have an infectious attitude that can't help make you smile and this is Netty to a tee. I found out later Netty's attitude may have been due to the fact she has been recently promoted to Manageress of Maui Palms but even so it was a great start to our stay.

After settling in I decided to try again for the romantic evening with Kim. I spoke to Netty and she suggested a couples massage in front of our villa, followed by a nice dinner. I think it was a combination of the atmosphere of Maui Palms and the massage because I could feel all the tension leave me. No thoughts of work, only my loving wife and our days ahead together. Luckily for us the other couples decided to go to other nearby resorts for dinner so we had a private dinner for two in front of our villa.

We spent 3 more nights at Maui Palms and even with the other couples the atmosphere was relaxed.

Netty made our stay feel like second honeymoon, and Mana was kind enough to tak us to her village in the interior part of Fiji. Kim and myself left feeling so relaxed, not a care in the world. Only problem is after a week at work I'll need a another stay at Maui Palms.

Thanks again Netty, Mana and all the staff and owners for an amazing stay in a tropical paradise. We'll definitely be back and we'll be telling all friends about this place-a real hidden gem in our hearts!!
