I recent stay at IBEROSTAR Costa Dorada, included my 4 adult children, husband and grandson. It was our first vacation in 2 years. We were very disappointed. Cheap Caribbean, which along with your web site misrepresented what your "resort" had to offer. We relied on your information when booking our vacation and your web site and photo did not accurately or truthfully represent what this hotel offered. Room not ready upon check in, not uncommon when traveling, but that just the beginning. Strong mildew odor and black mold in bathroom. Rooms fumigated during stay Air Conditioning not working TV not working No outlets to charge iPhone or Lap top in room, Ice machine not working hair dryer in bath from 1960 not safe to use. Food Stations at buffet understaffed - food at omelet station under cooked. Customer service was inconsistent, only a few of your employees were friendly and offered to acknowledge our concerns. My son was approached late in the evening after leaving a restaurant from your employee that asked for food from his plate. My family traveled with their 9 month old son, their room had no air conditioning, the smell of mildew was a concern of safety and health issues, and the fumigation of the rooms was very unpleasant

I'v stayed at this resort twice,i had no problems with my room,cleanliness,staff,meals or anything.i thoroughly enjoyed my organised trips,the beach was ok,the staff friendly and fun,choice of food and eating places good. Ispent most days exploring the island and found the people ok,if your nice to people and treat them with respect you won,t go far wrong. The only downside was,like many resorts in D.R,the hotel allowed the locals to use the facilities at the weekends and they would make the most of the opportunity, the solution was to go on an organised trip out of the complex,problem solved. I'm sorry the dear lady had a bad experience,every one I know enjoyed their stay.
