We stayed in the hotel following a recommendation by friends travelling with children who were in Hanoi a month before us. The family room and beds were huge and very comfortable, the location superb (a block from lake and water puppet theatre) and the female staff very good on customer service. The breakfast was good too for a three star - fresh and decent choice. Very impressed for the price we paid and would recommend to other families. (read more)

We decided to book Indochina Legend hotel because of the service and helpfulness of all staffs there. The room is big, clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 2 nights then took a trip to Sapa, Halongbay. The hotel organized the trips for us and it was wonderful experience. They keep our lugguage during the time travelling to Halong bay and Sapa. When I came back from Ha Long, they arranged a room for free shower which I highly appreciated. We love the the person at front desk . He is so... (read more)

I and my husband stayed at many hotels in Hanoi but Indochina Legend hotel was the best. Located in the centre of old quarter, just 2 minutes to the Hoan Kiem lake, very close to famous sites. Breakfast was on the top floor, variety of choice, nice view of city. We planed to travel from Hanoi down to Ho Chi Minh city. I looked a market on Internet but I decided to book Halong bay, Sapa, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh trips at the hotel as recommended from my friend. The price wasn’t higher... (read more)

I can’t say enough about this hotel. Upon arrival, I was greeted politely by the manager. She offered fresh fruit, drinks. Free map is better than expected. It was the first time to Vietnam so I didn’t know anything. I had 4 weeks holiday. I talked with hotel staffs and they gave us a good plan during 4 weeks in Vietnam including Halong bay, Sapa, then down to the south Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh city. They offered us a total price for everything. At first, we didn’t book... (read more)

French and English, that's a plus for french customer particularly), friendly and always ready to help. Fruit was prepared in the room everyday for free. Breakfast of the hotel with wide range of food, easy to choose for our taste. Thanks to Ms Huyen who manage the tours and book hotel for us during our trip in Vietnam (Halong was very special, Sapa, Perfume Pagoda, hotel & city tour in Hue, Hoi An in Danang, HCMC & Mekong delta, everything was perfect). I and my family stayed here for 2 nights. The location of the hotel was the most highlight (close to the most necessary for tourists: attractions, souvenir shops, eateries, etc). Then the rooms were comfy and well-organized with even a complementary laptop connected to Internet. The overall design of the hotel was friendly and cozy. We booked a flight to Hochiminh city, so we just took a city tour on the second day. The hotel staff were very helpful and professional in organizing the tour... (read more)

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while travelling around Vietnam and it has to be the best experience we have had with a hotel to date (we are doing around the world trip). Upon booking the hotel through booking.com we had communication from them immediately after I requested a transfer from the airport (this will cost you $18us through them). The check in was quick and simple, they were really friendly and could not do enough for us, the room was clean and spacious,... (read more)

The hotel Indochina legend was a restful haven from the chaos of Hanoi Old Town, in which it is situated, and a welcome place to rest the limbs between frantic hours trying to stay alive on the streets where 4 million motorcyclists compete for every inch of space both on the roads and on the pavements ! Overall, the hotel easily lived up to its 3-star rating. Service, however, was 5-star. (read more)

Perfect place for budget travelers. All services were in house including travel agent. Staff were all friendly and caring. We were offered free aiport transfer when we booked a city tour and Sapa tour. The traffic in city was scrambled but the tourist spots were worth to see. Sapa tour was incredibly good. For those who like trekking or biking, Sapa is the best option. The staff arranged with a very decent hotel room with fabulous services. We couldn’t be persuaded that tourism was well... (read more)

People in the hotel are most than welcome: they do everything to make sure you feel good. We have four children (13 to 5 years old) and they've moved us (without extra charge) to a very big family room. The breakfast is delicious. They also let us leave our bags for three days while we were away. Excellent hotel I would fully recommend. (read more)

The Indochina Legend more than met our requirements, the staff could not do enough for us and booked any trips we wished to go on. Mr Tom was very nice and was the trip advisor at the hotel. A young lady up in the Restaurant also invited us to the zoo and the large lake and took us on many busses to give us an insight into travelling around Vietnam on the service busses, this was very interesting indeed. Every one from the bell boy to the manager were absolutely polite and helpful. I would... (read more)

We are so lucky to be the first one to write the very very first review about this brilliant place. It is perfect combination people and service. It stands at the heart of the old quarter - one of the most travel's common place in Hanoi. It is pretty hard to get around and really easy to get lost but with the helpful staff's help " all the street just stand right in my hand". Our room were very clean, cozy and very quiet - piecefull environment. All in all, definitely I will make my way back... (read more)
