The colours west hotel we stayed 1st August -15th August Our party consisted of two families : 1 Adult 2 children and 17 years old and 1 Adult 1 Child 11 years old The Reception We arrived at the hotel and the reception staff were very unorganised we had paid for two double rooms with Balcony. The receptionist tried to persuade us to take one family room which he took us to see. We exp[lined that we were two separate families and we wanted what we had paid for. I was put with my family into a double unfortunately the family we were with got put into a single room with no balcony. We went back to reception to complain and we were met with extreme rudeness and unhelpfulness and they proceeded to tell a number of lies. We were forced to make an emergency call to our rep and after them speaking to the receptionist it was agreed that the room would be changed the next day. The reception staff were very difficult to engage and would ignore you often when you were in front of them so I would recommend that the reception staff need further customer service training. The Bedrooms The Bedrooms were spacious and very clean Gul the cleaning supervisor was very good and would check the rooms personally we were given clean towels every day and she was very keen we were happy with the standard of cleanliness. We did have a leak in the shower that flooded the bathroom door but they managed to fix it when we reported it The pool This was nice the sun lounges were plenty to be fare we were the only ones that went out early to put towels down but that was because we wanted 5 together and to move them to where we wanted them. The children enjoyed the slides and there was a nice inside pool which was often empty if you wanted a quiet swim. The Food & Drink The food was fantastic no complaints a big variety of food meat fish etc, hot and cold. There were a wide range of alcoholic drinks bar staff and kitchen staff friendly. The lady that made the omelettes at breakfast really nice. There was food provided all day and the lobby bar was 24 hours The Beach The Beach was a gem. The hotel had a private part of the beach. The hotel put on a tractor and trailer that ran regularly to and from the hotel it took about 5-10 minutes. There was a restaurant there as it was part of the hotel everything was all inclusive therefore we opted to go to the beach most days. The Entertainment The entertainment team were good unfortunately all the shows are in German or Russian so no good for us or our children. The area where the shows were was nice as it was outside. Compared to other animations teams the shows seamed shorter and not many activities for the children which we have had in other hotels in the past. However they let my 7 year old participate in the air riffle contest which he was really happy about. The Hotel services Photo service We had a very bad experience with the man that owned the photo shop he was extremely rude and offensive only seamed to be interested in the Russian guests very bad manners left a very bad impression. Turkish bath and massage. Really nice absolutely fantastic (however there is the small element of being hassled to sign up) The supermarket Nedim Ergen and Baris Coban were very friendly and helpful and sold some useful items in their shop. Wifi Free Wifi but a little hit and miss could mainly get in lobby but sometimes by the pool or in the rooms if signal strong Conclusion Nice hotel clean and comfortable and great beech. We were the only English people in the hotel so entertainment being in Russian and German was not great for us and children did not meet as many friends as normal but my son did meet some who spoke English so that was OK. Very much geared to Russian, German Ukrainian guests I would not stay at this hotel again but would recommend it if you enjoy a nice beach and good food. The hotel is not in Side so if you want to be in a town this hotel is not for you.
