My and my girlfriend booked this hotel for two days while we were already staying in morocco. We booked through booking.com for two adults, everything seemed fine so took a long taxi there (very far from anything). We got there and they sneaky asked us to pay a surcharge for two people as we had apparently booked a room with a capacity of two adults and not actually to room two adults. The receptionist were extremely unhelpful and arrogant. After speaking to the third manager we were told to go and have some lunch while they discussed and sorted their mistake. After having a below average buffet lunch we went back to discuss further. Still no change in attitude or decision. By this time me and my girl friend were so fed up we just wanted to go somewhere else. We rang a taxi and got stopped on the way out, back to reception we went. We were then asked to pay for the lunch we were told to have. Absolutely terrible service with their agent making mistakes on their behalf. Wasted money and a whole day getting there. Wouldn't reccommend to my enemy.

There are many mixed reviews out there about Aqua Fun Club in Marrakech. I have just returned from there, after a weeks break with my husband. We had read many reviews about this hotel as we were curious, as it had only recently opened. Prior to leaving for our holiday, I did read a few negative reviews, so I was a bit nervous about what we would find when we got there. But in all honestly, it is nowhere near as bad as many people are making out. Yes they are having a few teething problems, however it is a new hotel, and most people who have gone, or are going, have done so because they got such good deals. The villa we got, was in a quite location, close enough to the pools, but not so close that the music would disturb us. The bedroom was spacious, with a huge bed, which surprisingly was very comfortable. The bathroom, although it was a good size, did have a loose curtain rail, and there were a few issues with a lack of running water. We paid for an all-inclusive holiday, and we weren't overjoyed by the choice of food on offer, however it wasn't bad either. Both my husband and I are vegetarians, and we did feel that not much thought had been put into our food, however if your not vegetarian, there are plenty of options. Which did annoy me a bit, as most people took the only food we could eat. Meaning that we had to wait longer, or find a piece of fruit to eat. There are loads of pools there, and they are always clean, you may find the odd bug, but there is usually someone with a net fishing them out. The Aqua Park is fun too, with no real waiting time to go on the slides. Surprisingly there were very few children, and mainly adults going on them. Overall I thought the package we got was value for money. Yes I was food poisoned, but compared to alot of people, I was lucky. Well worth a trip, but do go there with an open mind, as everyone has different experiences.
