We had read review of premier le reve hotel & spa before we booked through Thomas Cook, and we had seen that t had a fairly high rating on other sites. But I didn't expect it to be as brilliant as it was, from the moment we arrived at the 5 star, all inclusive, adult only hotel - we were treated like royalty. We were on our honeymoon and they made sure they treated us more than extra special each and every day, even on arrival we were greeted with Champagne and rose petals, absolutely wonderful. So the weather when we arrived was extremely hot, we book first week in August, and it was above 40degrees most days, extremely humid and you certainly didn't want to be in the sun during the lunch hours, but it didn't matter as there was plenty of other things to do and go, they have 4 different bars, 5 pools, 4 freshwater and one seawater. Private sauna and Jacuzzi on top floor. 6 Places to eat, Italian, Chinese, seafood, Sushi and 2 normal buffet places. The food was probably lovely, but I am extremely fussy and don't like fancy food, so it was wasted on me, I thoroughly enjoyed the Italian, so we went twice, the food was extremely well cooked and you felt very special in there. The buffet food, as I said was very fancy and exotic, but I stuck to pasta and bland foods really. Its nice to have your drinks served to your table and the staff are eager to help in any way. The food and water are completely safe as they use filtrated water for everything here.

The pools were awesome, you had so much choice, we went in all of them but I loved the sea water one as you just floated around and sunbathed. the big main pool was great too, it was nice to alternate. Again the staff are constantly bringing you drinks, bottled water, fresh fruit, wet towels, they were just amazing.

I will rate the excursions on a different post, but just to say if you decide to do the ultimate dessert safari, DONT EAT THE FOOD. This was the only night I was up being sick and had Egyptian tummy. Oh its worth mentioning if your coming to Egypt, bring lots of mosquito repellent, and immodium to be on the safe side! They do have a pharmacy on site but the worker in there will rip you off massively. You can negotiate prices with him, but a couple in our hotel ended up paying over £50 for effectively paracetamol because they couldn't work out the exchange rate!!

So that food & Pools covered, bars were ok, have pool table, ping pong, darts etc, so that was nice.

The Rooms were of a high standard and good size, TV, hairdryer, robes, slippers etc. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean with marble floors, good space, free wi-fi and staff coming over and bringing you coffees or more water.

The sea/beach, was by far my most favourite place, every morning and evening we went out there snorkelling, it was like walking off the jetty into an aquarium, any fish you can think of in the red sea, we saw it, Lin fish, Puffer fish, Barracuda, sting rays, just simply outstanding! Also its one of the few places where you step off the jetty to waist height water, not really deep, so you could put your flippers on and kit and then go off for a swim. They said shark nets were out, but I did not see any!!! However Shark attacks are obviously pretty rare, I will let you do your own research on that, I think the Sting Ray we bumped into was probably more dangerous.

Overall if your wondering if you should visit this resort in Hurghada, the book it now you wont be disappointed!!!!!
