Sunrise Holiday's Resort

Hotel says five star but no way! More like a 3. The hotel is old, not all rooms modernised ie; old mattresses, old lighting fixtures, old grouting in baths. But, we were treated well by staff. Our room was clean and tidy upon arrival and was cleaned daily. The food was good with plenty of variety within the 3 restaurants and beach bar to choose from. Beautiful outdoor settings at pool, lagoon and seaside. Location was perfect for shopping (5 minute walk to town) , close to airport and ideal spot for excursions. Hotel offered many excursion options at cheaper prices than outside vendors. We didn't come across any horror stories associated with Egypt that we had been reading about. We had a truely wonderful holiday.
Would deffinatley reccomend , but don't expect "Dubai Five Star" standards.
