Hi,
We have just spent a wonderful week in the Sunny Days Palma de Mirette hotel in Hurgada, Egypt. We went on an all inclusive holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better deal. We arrived in the evening, just in time for food, and found the staff welcoming and extremely helpful. We were shown to our room and given an en route guided tour by a “bell hop” who knew what he was doing. The room was very good, clean with a television, and the bathroom was as good as anything I have seen on previous holidays. The room was serviced every day and towels were changed daily, if needed. Some were folded into amazing shapes and left on the bed. We had a view of the sea from the room and both swimming pools were only a short walk away.
The restaurant was about 120 metres from our room and up a flight of stairs. It was always ready to serve at the appointed times. The food was excellent and a good variety was offered at all times.
Close to our room was the pool bar where drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic and tea coffee or fruit juices were available all day until midnight. Around lunch time snacks could be had from outside the bar and some of the best pancakes I have tasted were cooked freshly as you waited.
The staff in all the bars were well trained but one in particular was excellent. Hisham, in the Lobby Bar was helpful and always seemed in complete control of the situation there without being intrusive. There were a few night s when some rather drunken holiday makers arrived but Hisham was always able to deal politely with the situation while always making sure your needs were met.
On the whole a great holiday which I look forward to repeating at some day in the future.
