The Lapad Hotel has been recognized as one of the 30 most charming hotels in Europe. It is located on Dubrovnik?s Peninsula, and is just under 2 miles from Dubrovnik. Guests who reviewed the hotel on Bookings gave it an 8.5 of 10, reporting pleasant staff members, and great views from their rooms. Guests on Hotels gave the business 9.2 of 10, also noting on the staff, and said that while the hotel is an old building, it has had modern updates. Both sites mention a well stocked, plentiful breakfast, as well as a bus stop out front, with buses making trips past into town regularly. Both sites had negatives as well, noting the glass wall and doors to the bathrooms made it a bit awkward to shower and use the facilities, and that they would have appreciated a bit more privacy. Also getting negative reviews were the balconies, with most saying they were too small for two people, much less chairs to sit on. Overall, people were impressed, and most noted they would love to return.
