Nice, but in winter the pool is in the shade

We requested a room with a pool view, as we read prior to booking, that rooms at the front or side will be overlooking the car park or road. We had our request fulfilled, and were given a lovely, spacious, and quiet room on the top floor (Room 436). The room was also kept clean throughout the week we were there by a friendly maid service. The only issue we had with our room was the air conditioning on the first night, as it did not work very well. The next day, we told the receptionist, and they had this fixed for us within a couple of hours at most, which we thought was very efficient.

The restaurant area was very nice, however the food could do with a little improvement at times, however it is still very nice, and is what you would expect for a buffet style at a hotel of this type. we did think that with being half board it was good which two meals you chose to have (i.e - breakfast and dinner, breakfast and lunch) - this gives you the option to be able to go out and experience some of the local restaurants on the seafront, of which there were a few very nice ones you can pick from, or if you need to, you could go to the burger king.The cocktails at the bar were VERY nice, and we would definitely go back to this hotel again, but all inclusive next time, to benefit from the cocktails, even though they were reasonably priced anyway. The bar staff were also very friendly.

The facilities at the hotel were very good, with a main pool downstairs and roof pools on the upstairs roof, however, these pools are much smaller, but they are very nice for just taking a dip to get out of the heat and cool down - you must be aware that on the roof though, there is a separate nudist area. There was also a gym, a small shop, and a few games for the kids.

The entertainment was downstairs for the evening, and there were other activities throughout the day such as water volleyball and bingo by the pool bar. There is also entertainment at the front of the hotel later in the evening with such things as music, and a magician which was very fun.


Overall, we had an excellent stay at the hotel, with the only slight down point being the slightly average food, but as stated before, it is still nice enough. the staff were amazing, and the whole hotel is clean, very well decorated, and provides enough for you to do if you plan to stay in the hotel for a while. However, I would HIGHLY recommend going to Siam Park waterpark; there is a Siam Park bus shuttle which runs almost every day from very near the hotel. We also took the trip to loro parc, which is a great day out, and takes around 45 mins - 1 hour to get there from what I remember.

We are looking to go back next summer to tenerife, and will definitely go back to this hotel if we do not visit a different area of the island.

Room Tip: contact the hotel for a pool view room, preferably on the 4th floor facing the sea also.
