Ive stayed here with various friends and family 5 times in five years. The hotel has just renovated it's pool area which looks really smart and clean, the first thing you notice is the new front drive and pool area which are always litter free and cleaned every day and evening.
Reception is 24/7 and very friendly
Bar area is of medium size with seating, tables and a large screen tv displaying mostly sport and a excellent variety of drinks with San Miguel at 1 euro 50 a pint not bad!
Very friendly staff who ok are all mostly Spanish, but they smile, laugh nd are very helpful.
The rooms have a decent size very clean bathroom, very clean bedroom with firm but comfy beds, we ask for extra pillows and get them within an hour every time. This time we had no cold water in the sink and within 2 hours off reporting this a man turned up and fixed it taking 15 minutes.
The balconys all have goods views, at the front poolside of the hotel you can see the pool, the hotels in front and the sea and beach. From the back of the hotel you can see the pool from next doors hotel which means you can enjoy there entertainment at evenings and you can see the plaza, Whitehorse and cellar pubs.
The food is very nice and always has a decent selection, although puddings are a bit limited but still very nice. Restaurant is traditional Spanish and gives off a warm comfortable atmosphere. Waitresses are the same every year and very nice.
There is a lounge area and entertainment hall with computers for Internet.
Wifi is now available in the bar lounge poolside and hall.
The only advise I could give to the hotel management is maybe now the pool area and frontage has been renovated they should spend some time doing up the rooms as they are very clean a bit basic and bland. A lick of paint in a modern colour and new side tables and even maybe some LCD tvs offering English channels!!
The only gripe is not with the hotel but the hill you have to walk up to get to it. Ok it's not tht bad but it is called cardiac hill! Lol
It's not a spectacular hotel it's a 3 star it's wonderfully pleasant and I'll be staying there every time I visit benidorm.
I actually feel a loyalty to this hotel which makes me not want to stay anywhere else.
