This hotel definitely falls into the functional category rather than luxury. We chose it (in Oct 2011) as it was within our price range (reasonably cheap) and was close to the area of the city that we knew and wanted to be near (Surrey Hills). We were a 1 minute walk from Oxford street and had really easy access in to the main city centre. The room was nice enough. Bed comfortable, television with Fox sports (for RWC watching necessities :)

The staff were really friendly. Not much else to say, good location for stay in Sydney and would probably use again (unless I become richer somehow!)
