Booked this travelodge because it was in the £10 offer. We needed an overnight stay. Had read reviews about this travelodge, not very good ones at that, and they were correct to some extent. We never noticed the road noise much and we had a ground floor room at the front. But we found that the room was quite grubby, had a foisty smell about it, a very flat duvet, just 2 pillows, had to go and ask for another. The whole place could do with an overhaul to bring it into line with other places. We have stayed at other Travelodges and never had the need to review them, as they were very clean and pleasant places to stay, but we can never really say that about this Travelodge and would never go there again even at the lowest price and certainly would not recommend it to anyone. We thank god that we only paid £10, if we had paid the full amount, would have been a very disgruntled couple indeed!!!
