“Cheap & (reasonably) Cheerful”

I stayed at the Travelodge at Scotch Corner 3 weeks ago. OK it's not the Ritz, but it cost me £27.00 which is great value for 2 adults and 2 kids.

The accommodation isn't the best, but in terms of value per pound spent it pretty amazing.

The rooms are clean(ish) and the beds are comfy. OK, I've done a fair bit of travelling so I'm ready to slum it, but I think it would be acceptable to most people with common sense (given what you pay)
