I have done work experience and ridden at Monach. During work experience the staff were rude and would rather get mad at me than help me with what to do. The horses and goats were not mucked out / deep littered properly - I was told to leave the poo in the stable and just chuck hay on top. Equipment was not cleaned either. The owner is not someone I would ever like to meet again.

My lesson was boring. We all walked round together, then trotted round, then walked round and then the lesson was over. The person who took my lesson was not a qualified instructor or someone working towards a qualification.

Good points? The horses were nice!
