Although my niece and I enjoyed our trek we were a bit disappointed that we only got a 50 metre canter twice and trotted only a couple of times too. This was our second time at Mill Farm, the first being a novice ride and we only walked so this time decided to book on the advanced ride hoping for a gallop or two but alas not. Apart from that I thought the set up was really good with the emphasis on safety, ensuring all were kitted out with hats and body protectors. The horses and ponies seemed well looked after and Paradise and Rio were great to ride. Don't let the slow pace put you off going to Mill Farm as its a fun couple of hours spent in the fresh air onboard great hairy beasties.
