I've recently moved into the area and have been looking for somewhere I could ride and would be made feel welcome. Having tried a number of stables I came across Mill Farm and it is by far the best experience I have ever had. Not only do all the staff care about the horses, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and part of the family environment. Nothing is too much trouble and they work with you to improve confidence and develop all round skills from flat work, jumping and hacking to horse care and stable management, they truly want you to feel good and enjoy your time with them. The horses are of different abilities and there is a whole range to suit all riders. I can't recommend Mill Farm enough and it is a place I will be visiting on a regular basis along with their trekking centre.
