i highly recommend barton end the people are really pelite the staff are great and it is a great place to ride i would suggest to ride here if you can pass on the reviews i love the fact that they have lots of room and all types of horses and differents sizes of horses and ponies the thing i dont like is basicly nothing its all great there. abby the owner will do her best to please everyone she can. she will listen to all complaints if their is any. i knew all i needed to know before i paid. Barton End Stables is a licensed riding centre, approved by both the British Horse Society (BHS) and as a Pony Club Link Centre. Based on our family run farm in Nailswoth, 4 Miles south of Stroud along the A46; Barton End Stables was established by Abby Blackwell in the year 2000 to provide a full range of services and activities for riders of all ages and abilities. Are you a complete novice looking for fun activities or wanting to learn some basics? Or a competent rider looking to improve your flat or jumping skills?. Whatever your age or level, you can be sure that we can help improve your riding in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
We are proud to offer 40 horses, so you can be sure we'll always have your perfect riding partner!

We are very experienced at providing safe riding for those with special needs and are a centre for Minchinhampton Riding for the Disabled (RDA).
