    I hate Hoover Hurricane and am off to buy something else!

    No handle to carry it with. "No Bag" is lies. I have to use bags. Hose and pipes are heavy and awkward to handle in a confined space. Balance or feel is utterly absent because the weight distribution is useless. This machine was designed by a committee who should be fired and replaced by one person ...

    We bought our Hoover Nextra 8 HNWF 7148 with some deliberation but decided that the size and energy efficiency spoke for itself, but the extra effort in getting the clothes ironed flat after a normal wash cycle made up for it.

    Awful. The cyclone keeps getting blocked, so it doesn't suck and te 'empty me' light stays on and the filter needs cleaning almost every time you empty it otherwise it doesn't suck.

    You could say that it sucks, only it doesn't most of the time!

    I LOVE this machine! It's spins so fast the clothes come out almost dry, it's very quiet, there are loads of different cycles and it's lasted six years in a hard water area being used every day with no problems except the seal is beginning to leak. Would definitely repair rather than replace it.
