A superb car. I have a 1998 model, with 93k on the clock. It is very reliable - I didn't use the car for about 3 weeks at one point but when I needed the car again it started up straight away! I've also slept in the car a few times - the seats fold down easily to make a really comfy bed! Good boot space - but if you have even more stuff then the seats fold down easily! For a 2.2 engine I don't think it's very guzzling on the petrol - as long as I don't push the engine the fuel supply will last ...

Item: Honda Shuttle 2.2i ES
Have owned our Honda Shuttle 2.2ES for a year. Bought it as a cheap family holdall - it's 1995 model with over 160,000 miles on the clock!
Despite this it still drives superbly. It took us to Spain and back last summer without any problems at all - cruised at 80 and gave us around 30mpg. It's very comfortable and has great flexibility. I had my 98 Honda Shuttle for three years before changing it to a Mercedes. My memories of it are still vivid as I truly believed it is a SUPERB people carrier. For a start, it has never let me down. Mehcnaically it was flawless, and even on very very long journies (which I will discuss below) it was a really solid and dependable machine. Item: Honda Shuttle 2.3i LS
The Honda Shuttle People Carrier is a nice car that stands out from the crowd. Does not look dated even though early models go back to 1995/96.
Performs well and quite fast if the v tech engine is worked and kept at high rev's, much to the anoyance of some other car drivers at times, you can even give the odd boy racer a run for their money which really anoys them!

Excellent. An MPV that feels and drives like an estate car. Comfortable, responsive and unbelievably reliable. They are the sort of salesperson-speak phrases you would expect to hear about the Shuttle on a Honda dealer's forecourt. The amazing thing is they are all true.
