Remarks on my overall experience.

I found the course lesson very detailed, well laid out, highly informative and very relevant. In fact I wish it could be made a compulsory course to be successfully completed and passed by any support worker/health care assistant in mental health units.
All the course content are practically what I have been coming across in real life while working in mental health unit and this lesson has helped me tremendously to really understand and appreciate the various stresses ( mentally, physically, emotionally e.t.c) that mental health patients are going through.
On the whole, this course has helped me a lot and I fact I found out that I was able to hold very relevant and authentic discussion with a couple of seconds year university mental health nursing students who were on placement. We talked at length about the causes of mental illness, research findings to support some of the causes and a host of other theoretical models of mental health.
