BTEC Mechanical Engineering

This course is an absolute joke. Initially I was very impressed with ICS student advisors friendly enough and keen to help, Prompt delivery of the learning materials. That is where it ends. The course material is copied and pasted from Wikipedia and various other sites, The material does not go into detail, yes it shows you how to do it but does not explain it, when I brought the course I was told I did not need any previous experience to take this course how wrong could they be! The material is full of typing errors and when I rang ICS apparently the course is checked thoroughly before being sent out. I noticed the tutor (if that is what you can call them) always got back to me on a regular basis but since I have paid off all my course my tutor does not get back in touch with me unless I make a complaint and I have made so many. On one occasion my tutor never responded to my request for help for over one week. When I rang ICS to complain I was told he was off sick and he would get back to me the following Monday. Why didn't ICS get in touch with me and keep me informed. I am considering asking for a full refund as the course is very poor and not fit for purpose and ICS do not seem to care, as long as they get their money who cares what happens to me. If anyone is thinking that this review is blown out of proportion. Read other reviews about ICS and this course in general. I can assure you there are plenty of students in the same boat as me.
