I have just finished Level 2 AAT in Accounting with Eagle Education.
I have to say that I couldn't choose any better provider than them. When I was trying to decide with whom I will study, I have searched through many websites and called few providers.
As I'm mother of two, money makes a big difference and Eagle was for me the most affordable. So I have to say the price was the key element for me to decide who I will choose.
But from the first moment of contact with Eagle I was very impressed. I got my study material within 2 days so I could start with my study straight away. My tutor Jo, has called me and explained where to start and she gave me a plan when to finish each part of the study.
She was very supportive all the way through. She was responding to my emails almost immediately and when I couldn't understand she has called me back and talked me through any subject I needed.
She has checked my progress via progress tests and mock exams. She has made notes about any mistakes I have done in these tests to make sure I do understand everything and that I'm ready for the live exam.
I have passed all my exams on first attempt so that's says it all :))
But not only my tutor was very supportive, it was even director herself Sonya, personally involved when I was sitting my assessment with my invigilator and AAT website has crushed down. She contacted IT guys and sorted everything out very quickly and then adjusted the time for the assessment so I didn't loose anything and could finish my exam.
Even customer services of Eagle Education were very supportive. They sorted out the payments very fast, contacted invigilator or sent any study material very quickly.
By the way Moodle as a e-learning facility was helpful too. You can find all information needed over there. Together with study material which is very simply done it was easy to get ready for my exams.
It took me 10 months to finish level 2 AAT in Accounting. With 2 small children and working at the same time I think this is really good achievement.
I have to say that my tutor has send me even Congratulation post card straight after the last exam and it really felt like I’m part of a ‘family’ :)
What I want to say is that my tutor Jo and even director Sonya were ‘human beings’ not only teachers or providers. It feels really good that you are not only a ‘number’ or a ‘customer’ but their real student.
So I highly recommend Eagle Education as a learning provider to achieve your accountancy degree.
Jo, Sonya, Kerry (receptionist really nice as well), customer services – THANK YOU!

Hi Janette2707, have just been reading reviews as am considering starting Level 2 AAT and trying to decide which distance learning provider to go with. I am in a same position as you, have two little ones and work, so still thinking if I will be able to dedicate enough time to it. You mention you completed level 2 in 10 months, well done! I just wanted to ask roughly how many hours a week were you studying?
Your review has inspired me even more to go ahead with it, and I think I will go for Eagle as I haven't seen any bad reviews about them.
Well done again and good luck for the future.
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn :) Remember one thing... there are no problems just solutions.. everything is possible, you just have to find the way how to get what you want. Studying with 2 small kids is not easy but possible. I have reduced my working hours to 4 hours a day what gave me around 1-2 hours to study in the morning while kids were at school. The problem is that my shift is changing every other week, so when I was working morning shifts I couldn't find time for a study in the afternoon when kids came home at the same time as I have finished my work. Plus don't forget there are so many holidays during the school year so during the holidays there was no chance of touching any of the books. But even though I have managed all the exams within 10 months so if you could manage your working hours and get everyday just 1hour of study, you could finish 1 level within half a year without any problem. And with Eagle as a provider you couldn't go wrong that's my word.
So take care Carolyn and I hope you will get what you want in no time :))
