I was looking for a web design course where I could get on with it under my own steam with minimal face to face tuition. Computeach was the best I could find and for someone like me who has some ICT background already it has worked out quite well. I'm about 10 months into the course and have passed 3 exams. Most of the delays I've experienced have been at my end. The course has opened up a better understanding of ICT. (I have a Masters degree in Computer Science from 1976 (year before silicon chips were announced) and so networking was completely new to me.)

It is not compulsory to go into the centre in Dudley. I've found it helpful to do so despite the anti-passenger policies of the local bus service. The transitions between courses are a little inflexible and I would like to be able to work on the next course whilst waiting for the exam. I intend to stay for a further year and see how I do. Now that I'm into the course it is opening new doors for me in terms of my career change and so I remain hopeful.
