Arts academy not only has taught me how to play the guitar, but also has encouraged me to learn other instruments related to the latter, such as the ukelele. I new about arts academy through a friend, and at first I was a bit skeptical, but after I few sessions I realised it´s the best way to learn, not only how to play a musical instrument, but also learn how to read and compose my own music. Time tables are really flexible and I can book a lesson any time! they even advised me what was the most suitable instrument I could get given that I am a beginner, but you can even get any instruments from them directly. It´s worth at least trying a few lessons, I got my first lesson for free, but it was an opportunity I could not let go and now I have a lesson a week on my day off! It has definitely given me very good results! :D

The Arts Academy provides excellent, well qualified professors teaching a variety of instruments. They are reliable and have a good exam pass rate. It is easy to get hold of someone if there is a problem and the Academy keeps parents well informed on the progress of younger students. They are a very professional outfit.

I have been having guitar lessons for the last 6 months and I am very pleased with the quality of tuition received. I have been playing the guitar for many years figuring it out as I went along listening to records. I was sceptical at first wondering what else I could learn. The Arts Academy came highly recommended and I now wish I had done it earlier! Thanks!

The Arts Academy ethos is to ensure that all students - irrespective of ability - enjoy their music lessons and reach an optimum level of proficiency. The Arts Academy approach is unique, engaging and effective for all students; Arts Academy tutors are skilled musicians, as well as qualified, experienced and inspiring teachers.

Gayle was always keen on playing the clarinet but there was little time available at school. Since having home tuition Alison has gone streets ahead and I cannot praise her tutor to highly. At times the tutor was late arriving but he always made up the time but of course this made him late for his next pupil, not a gripe or a complaint but just an observation.

I supposed to be worried about the teacher come around to my house. I always used to go around their house when I was having lessons. However, it does save me the hassle of having to travel which I really like and it means that I can feel very comfortable in my own home. I got used to it very quickly and I’ve now settled to routine and I can honestly recommend having private music tuition at home. It’s much better! My Arts Academy teacher seems to be fine, although I don’t really have much dealing with the actual Arts Academy office, it is a bit like hiring a normal private teacher to me. (If a little bit more expensive) However, I suppose if something went wrong they would be there to back me up. Overall, I would recommend Arts Academy.

My 10 year old wanted specifically an electric guitar teacher to meet his ideas of rock star dreams. We couldn't have been more thrilled and a bit in awe as Arts academy promptly and without any fuss supplied a bonefide rock artist. Complete with leather jacket, long hair and a website of cool music. Not only that but he is polite, sweet and knows his stuff. He has inspired my son who looks forward to him coming. My only regret is that due to the cost we are going to suspend the lessons for a while. I think it is very much good value for money it's just that I'm short of money. If you can afford it I would not hesitate to recommend Arts academy. They are attentive, supportive and reliable.

Arts Academy in a few words… phenomenal! My husband was relocated to London from NYC two years ago. Back in the US, our son Tommy used to take flute lesson privately at home. When we moved down to London, we had some problems finding a proper tuition service. After lots of research, we got a recommendation for the Arts Academy and it really worked out for us! They make it very simple and they teachers are awesome. Well, at least the once they chose for us! Yes, go for them, they will help you out with your kids music lessons!

A little bit restrictive with their terms and conditions. Yes, if you pay more you an get rid of restrictions and have a more flexible service. Fair enough. This little inconveniences are outweighted by excellent and professional professors who are very bubbly and hard working Excellent Arts Academy.

Thank you Arts Academy for sending a very nice teacher to my home. Every week my family has a little event at home when she comes. We are amazed at our teacher’s professionalism and ability to communicate with our 5 year-old son. We just wanted to give him a different fun thing to do once a week; however, he is not just having fun but also learning music and noticeably improving his concentration skills. I see that music and a good teacher can make a child happy and hopefully very successful. Thank you once again.

As an adult I have been playing harp 7 years and have been with Arts Academy for 4 those years. I love my instrument and I love my music lessons it really takes me away from daily work. My children have music lessons and am very grateful to the wonderful music. I am very grateful to the wonderful piece on the heart gives me... I totally recommend taking any instrument any day.

My name is Abigail from Fulham. Our daughter Emily started lessons last year with a private teacher in London, which we found through Gumtree. This was a very bad idea to be honest. I don’t know if we just had back luck, but we were paying £40 for a young teacher who did not have experience at all, and Emily did not engage at all. She would cry when the teacher was on his way. We decided to go for an agency, and the Arts Academy appeared the first one in Google. Emily got a much nicer teacher. Again, I don’t know if this luck or the fact that this particular agency takes care of who they hire, but I must say that we are very happy with our current professor and will not change the music lesson option. They also liaise considerably with the clients and have very creative offers and ideas. One fun thing they do is the Pupil of the Term awards. This is incredibly encouraging for Emily, and she really strives to become the next. I hope she will some day!

I’m a professor with the Arts Academy and I thought it would be interesting to give my side of the situation. Although I don’t have many pupils with the Arts Academy the ones I have seem very dedicated and I really do enjoy teaching them. Once you get to know all the procedures of the company (which there are quite a few!) it seems to be quite a easy business to work for I generally have no problems with them they always pay on time and unlike most I’ve worked for they always pay on time and in fact unlike all the other agencies I work for they pay a term in advance. This is really handy for me as I am a graduate student from the royal college of music and I need all the money I can get!! I could always do with more students so if any out there would like any music lessons please do contact the Arts Academy !

Hello, my name is Jane and Sophie has had violin lessons with the Arts Academy now for the past four years. I find their service absolutely super. They seem to know just how important it is that my daughter needs to take exams and learn in the best environment possible, which is with me at home where I can keep a track of her progress on a day to day basis to make sure that she progresses as I think she should. She’s a talented girl I’m very proud of her and I do hope that she continues to receive music lessons like this in the future.

I know most of the reviews on here have been to do with people sons or daughters. I am a 55 year old male and decided two years ago that I really should start to learn how to play the piano. Learning to do things later in life seems to be one of the hardest things I have ever done, learning to play the piano later in life seems to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. My right hand and my left always want to do the same thing at the same time and it always impresses me when I look at people who can really play the piano how they seem to move their ten fingers independently and their hands at the same time. The teacher I have is very professional and understands that I don’t have a lot of time to practice and doesn’t push me to do any silly exams. I’m not interested in any of that. I just want to learn how to play a little piano so I can amuse myself in my spare time. I find it quite stressful leaving and I’m please to say the teacher I have ( arron) knows how important it is that I not only enjoy lessons as a leisure activity but also that he stretches me just enough that I feel I am progressing week from week.

I was delighted to find a music tuition service that I could rely on to find me a good teacher who could teach my child in our home. Delighted !

I moved to the arts academy from another well known agency. My daughter receives flute lessons from one of their teachers and we have now been with them for a little over two years. Our teacher is a very confident person, who likes to make sure that my daughter is always enjoying her lessons. That seems to be the most fundamental thing about her teaching style compared to her previous teacher where I noticed that my daughter has begun to lose focus and motivation. I don’t normally write reviews on these sorts of sites, but I do find that the service the arts academy is providing is an exceptional one compared to my previous experience with music teachers. I’m not saying all the arts academy tutors is like this because I only have experience with our flute teacher who in my opinion is wonderful.
