I have used IGO4 for a number of years but if you try to cancel or get anything from them they will just rip you off with lots of extra charges they are not a good insurance company and I would not touch them with a barge pole. having only 2 months left on my policy I had to cancel because I was moving they charged me on a 220 pound policy over 140 for the two months I had left I would never consider using them again they will also charge your card with our you permission as they keep hold of your debit card details word of warning do not use them

On early August 2015 I was insured with IGO4 before setting off on a trip to western Europe. Just to be safe I contacted IGO4 and asked breakdown cover to be added to my third party cover. Unfortunately had a accident and contacted IGO4 for a recovery truck to collect me from the side of the road, service they refused to provide, and were very rude on the phone provided that they were speaking to one of their clients in distress on a foreign country seeking help. At the end of the month they sent me a final bill of £114.53 and cancelled my policy on the 25/08/2015 due to late payment, although I have contacted IGO4 and explained the my financial situation after the accident. Final balance was collected 7 days later, 2 days after balance cleared I start receiving emails, post letters, texts messages and even automated telephone calls from IGO4 and some debt collector named C.A.R.S attempting to collect an outstanding balance of £64.65 that IGO4 cannot explain to me where does that amount come from. I am Still awaiting on some form of appolagies or explination from IGO4.

For the first time I'm 3 years of having the policy I found myself having to make a claim due to a smashed iPad, I make the initial call, all goes well and in fact I get a warm feeling as I'm told due to all the cover I have this really won't be a problem....fast forward on 5 days, the claim hasn't moved on, I'm now talking to the 4th different company involved having to go over the same detail again and again, I now have to fill out forms and post back? The process is a joke, I have no confidence that this company has a clue about what they are doing or customer service, my policy is up for renewal in March.....never going to happen!

IGO4 has extremely bad response to trying to change or cancel policy's . . My policy was renewed and finance charges were set up without my consent. . Be aware of there discreet business practices. . . After realizing there actions after 2 days I called and was pushed from rep to rep manager to manager .. . .then charge me £75 to cancel and £6 for 2days ins cover. .. What bs . . . This was car insurance not home but it says enough about this company BEWARE. . .

I was with IG04 for a year. 23rd Feb received my inflated renewal quote 27th Feb Phoned and canceled my policy - Spoke to a gentleman who, after the sales pitch, assured me the policy was canceled and would not be renewed on 20th March. 15th April a Direct debit of £31.27 came off I phone them, they had no record of me canceling my policy and they said they would look back at the telephone records for that date to see who i spoke with. Received a letter to say they were investigating and 2 days later an email saying that my account was now canceled and that i owed them 1) Time on cover - £87.48 2) Cancellation Fee £ 60.00 Plus they have already taken £ 31.27 DD Total - £ 178.75 Plus the warning that if i do not make the payment they will pass this onto a collection agency and it could affect my credit rating. I have emailed the proof that i have a dual policy and am still awaiting their decision..I am not holding out much hope with them.I don't believe for a minute they will even trawl through phone records from March to find my conversation. Do not go near them!! Hope this helps
