I contacted Towergate over a leak in my kitchen on 3rd February - I eventually got a plumber (my policy states 24hr for a plumber) on the 17th February - by which point I had a flood... I have had to clean the flood up myself and fix all pipe work else I’d still be sitting in it. I am now expecting drying equipment to arrive next week so repairs can begin once drying is complete ... drying could take weeks.. By the time they start drying - it will be 50 days since my initial contact , I’ve spend countless hours on the telephone and used up 3 days of my annual leave from work so far – and, all we’ve achieved in 50 DAYS is an appointment to bring in drying equipment. Surely you have to be the absolute worst insurance company ever. Absolutely shocking service – costs an arm and a leg as well. Avoid these jokers at all costs. By the end of this ill have had a disgusting mess in my brand new kitchen for 4 at least 4 month. If it ever ends... Right now if feels like it never will. Going home to this every night is heart breaking. They just don't care
