Left with no heating for 6 days, we had to keep calling, calls were not made/returned as stated. Waited in for an engineer who did not show. when the engineer came he diagnosed faulty time clock, I asked him to bypass it so that we may get heating. He said it cannot be done. Two days later discover that time clocks are not covered, I said I have no heating - that surely is an emergency. Told on the phone that the engineer would come back and bypass the clock or show me how to use the boiler manually!!!!! This is what I asked the engineer to do and he said it is not possible!!! They simply do not listen. I have not the time for all the messing - so I bought a time clock and had it repaired for £50. When I complained I was told that my policy covers me for the cost of buying two heaters up to £50. In all the calls and conversations we had, not one person mentioned this. I believe this piece of information at the complaint stage was meant to appease me - it angered me. I am shocked and concerned that had I been a pensioner or a young family with children this situation is simply not acceptable. TESCO INSURANCE - Sort it out!!!!
