I first used Policy Expert last year after I bought a house and found that my old insurer wasn't willing to insure me because they didn't like some of the locks on the new place. So I shopped around a bit and found this - and it's been great. After I entered all my details into the site I found that I had some more questions, so I called up and got someone on the line right away. He was very helpful and got me sorted.

Last week I renewed my policy with Policy Expert - again a great experience. I got a letter a month ahead of time reminding me to renew, went online, put in my user ID, and got a new set of quotes. This included a quote that was £100 cheaper per year for exactly the same thing, so I got that. The documents were available for download right away, and I got the paper copies in the post about 2-3 days later. The letter even included a reminder, and some forms, to help me make sure the old insurer won't keep up the direct debit by accident. What a service!

In contrast to other insurance experiences I've had, this has been a real joy. That said I've never had to claim so I can't comment on that side of it.
