Fine when they're looking for your initial custom but once you've been with them for a few years, they treat you like xxxx. In a 25 year home owner history I made just 1 claim (tenanted property) which was about 12 years ago. You'd think they would want to keep me as a customer - wrong!
They increased my premium from last year by £90 and would not give a reason due to 'industry secrets'.
I suspect that they gave me this increase so that I would increase my Excess. If they are doing this on a regular basis, to other customers, it would be to discourage them from making claims. But what about the customers who don't make claims like myself - why penalise them?
WHAT'S THE POINT IN HAVING A GOOD CLAIMS HISTORY IF THEY STILL END UP RAISING YOUR PREMIUM
