Many companies will not insure your home if you are away for more than a couple of weeks. We go away for a couple of months in the summer but many companies won't insure us even though we have neighbours visiting the house on a daily basis. This company however does offer cover for up to 90 days which is great. Still rather expensive though for the pleasure of not being in residence but still good that we can obtain cover.
