Took out a policy for a hotpoint induction hob. The engineer came out. so first half a day waiting. he then ordered parts another half day waiting. this failed to fix. waited another half a day for an engineer who did not arrive. he said he would call back when parts ordered. he did not. was then told for a week that parts were on order. they then wrote it off. they are now asking me to accept a whirlpool that is really cheap despite the fact that my hotpoint model is still available. basically £500 to replace they want to replace with a whirlpool for £230.
and hours waiting to be dealt with
