I thought I found my light and shining knight when I found Domestic & General. Its a Tuesday and I had been through a long weekend without hot water and heating and they got me an engineer to fix it on thursday. I got Thursday off and i was really excited when I got a message that the engineer will be her between 12noon - 4pm.

12noon -4pm NO ONE CAME, NO ONE CALLED to tell me whats going on

I called them and complaint and they said the engineer came, knocked, rang the door bell and left a note. Then I was told 12noon - 4pm was an estimate, how much more estimation do you need than 4 hours? Not only was the engineer was late, this company has a knack of hiring someone with no common sense, what is the point of me giving me them my telephone number if the engineer dind't even try calling me to double check. Not only did the company failed to acknowledge their staff shortcomings, the engineer refused to come back to fix my boiler despite being only 10min away. The staff weren't attentive either, keep calling by the wrong name after I have corrected them multiple times, and the staff kept talking to me in a tone as if it was ALL my fault that I had missed the engineer, when the engineer clearly has not exhausted all channels by calling me before walking off. I asked for someone to come and fix it today or on a Saturday and was told that if I wanted someone to come and fix it today or tomorrow then I should have gotten an emergency plan.

When I requested to speak to a manager, the staff there kept insisting that they have this process to follow, log a complaint then i have to wait 3-5 working days for a manager to call me back. I had to call 3 times, be on the phone for over an hour and spoken with 3 people and I had to request and almost beg to speak to a manager 10 times before I was on to speak to a manager.

After speaking to a manager, the outcome was still the same, another Long weekend without hot water/ heating. If they know its busy this time of the year, instead of asking me to be understanding, they should own up to their own company's problem and hire more staff, fix their service & not bend their customers!

Extremely upsetting, now that it's a Friday, if I op to go with another company I obviously have to wait longer again, I am trapped. Appalling disgusting service!!

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!
