Waited 1 week for a engineer to come and look at my washing machine. Unable to fix machine so had to order parts.Was told by the engineer that i would have to wait another week until they were avalible to come back to fix it.However i was told that as it was urgent they would get indesit to book appointment instead.An appointment was booked for 5 days later, however recieved a phone call early morning on the day they were due to come that there are no parts, and that i have to wait until the original date the engineer had already given me. Which meant a total of 3 weeks without a washing machine! Contacted dandg twice, a total of an hour and a half just waiting to speak to someone. Finally someone cotacted me back to inform me that they spoke with indesit and have to wait even longer for repair now. Wont do anything until allotted time scale to solve it.Total of 4 weeks, then they step in. Told there is nothing they can do until then, basically if they can source parts you have to wait up to a month for it to be fixed,like everyone else i have children and it has cost a fortune at the launderett, especially on top of christmas. They have had a total of £1500 off me over the years, and im disgusted to be treated like this. They should be more honest in the time frame that you have to wait for a repair. I feel ripped off. Also my machine is only 2-3 years old which was originally replaced by them in the first place as they couldnt source parts fo my old one.That took 5-6 weeks to do plus all the £40 charge on top. Past experience should've warned me not to renew my policy but i honestly thought that their services would have improved. But infact they are even worse now.Next time i will buy a cheaper model from a catalogue and just replace it if it brakes down. ( they can deliver in 2 days) it works out cheaper each month to pay them instead and its cheaper delivery/installation etc. You really dont get the service that you pay for anymore. Just feel very,very bitter about the whole thing.It really doesnt matter how upset/distressed you are with the service they genuinely couldnt give a monkeys. I wont be renewing my policy again with them and i strongly advise others to try and find another alternative it is not value for money. Probably be best to put money aside each month now and just buy brand new as it will save a lot of stress as they dont make machines like they used to ( indesit, hotpoint) and you dont have to deal with dandg customer service either. Very let down and just so not worth it anymore have used them for five years and every year policy goes up and service gets worse. Hope this helps anyone considering a policy with them.
