This company charges for absolutely everything. Somebody obtained my card details while I was abroad so my card details changed, to be honest I forgot about my Dial direct account when alerting companies about my change in details. I never received a letter from Dial direct to tell me about the failure to receive the money so they decided to cancel the direct debit. I called them up to ask if I could just continue the policy but found out I only had a month left on it, I wanted out before because of the ridiculous charging they do so thought I'll pay the cancellation fee and get out. The ' help centre' said there was another charge of £29 on top of the £45 (yes £45!!!!??) cancellation fee? She then said she would take off the cancellation fee if I signed up for another year policy, basically legal bribary so out of principal I shelled out the money. You want my advice do not go with these people they are cheaper for a reason, you will pay in the long run, I am now with Barclays who have a cancellation fee of £25, even evil Barclays is cheaper!
