I wondered why my claim for flood damage is making me feel like I have to jump through hoops. Now after reading the comments here it seems I am not alone. I started the claim about 5 weeks ago and I still have no fridge, a borrowed bed and am having to make do and mend for a host of other items. It really is unnacceptable. The only glimmer of hope was that the company nominated by Churchill to come and take the damaged furniture away for repair/replacement came quite quickly. I was concerned but not overly so about the instruction from Churchill to photograph all the items that were taken. Now, I am beginning to wonder why they would have me do that. I'll find out in due course but the claim process so far has been slow, unmanaged, and inconvenient. I will not be continuing to insure with this company no matter what the outcome.
