“Great (cheating!) success”

I ordered the dinner party for 4 box as I was having my parents over for the weekend. We had busy days planned and I didn't want to spend hours in the kitchen preparing a meal. The portion sizes were very generous, the food was delicious. I simply steamed up some fresh mixed green veg to serve with the main course and bought a pot of cream for the desserts and that was my total input! We all enjoyed and I now have a few more stand-by meals in the freezer in case of another busy weekend! Easy... (read more)

What an amazing company, the customer service received was suburb. They were friendly, helpful and their knowledge of their products when I asked several questions was impressive. The packaging is amazing and even during the hottest weeks here in the UK it still arrived frozen like it should. This is just one of the many reasons why I continue to order from them. As you will be aware I have used life fork and spoon a number of times and have been delighted with the products. The packaging is excellent although the labelling could be clearer. All in all a must have in the freezer. It would be helpful if quantities could relate to an actual dinner party in number I.e a dinner party for ten I don't know whether this would be possible but for my purpose it would be helpful Do hope that this is of help for you (read more)

Thank you so much for your comments, all feedback is very important for us and helps us improve our service . We are currently having labels produced and these will be used once that process is complete.
As for Dinner parties - we do have dinner party menus for 2, 4 and 6 people as well as introductory packs which can be found in the 'specials' category on the website, these have proved very popular with other customers. Hope that is of help !

“Tasty quality food”

The food was very well packaged, and delivery excellent. Quality was good overall, sometimes a little more meat would be good, and more mince in the shepherd pies. The meat was always tender and tasty, chicken and fish dishes very good. The desserts were also very nice we liked the lemon sponge best. So overall excellent with just the odd little point I have made, a shame the prices went up means I cannot order as often, but having said that I will be back. (read more)

So James Martin is doing ready meals i told Eric,my husband,shall we try some? not knowing what was going to happen after seeing Life,Fork and Spoon for the first time. First was the difficult descision as to what to order,such a varied choice,dinner boxes,loads of individual items too,something for everyone,from starters to desserts.Also the special prices and free delivery helped but wanted to taste the things we sometimes buy from the supermarket and could compare taste,size,value etc.... After receiving my first order from Life, Fork & Spoon I was absolutely delighted. Steak & Ale Pies had a lovely amount of filling and pastry was just right. The single meal options are great for just warming in the bag and you get a lovely amount of sauce with them. Not at all dry. Delivery very quick and packaged just right. Will definitely be ordering again and can`t wait for new items to be added. I have ordered food from other websites in the past but they don`t compare to this one.... (read more)

I was delighted to hear that James' food was available, I ordered a mix of goods including the Meditaranean Range, one jar came broken, but the company readily replaced it and was delivered within 12 hours. The pies have an excellent short crust, which often when frozen, loses that quality. I will definitely order again, the goods were almost perfect.....Except for the Classic Tapenade which was far too salty for my taste, I did write personally and mentioned this to the team, and as a... I was thrilled with the service you delivered and have subsequently recommended to you to my family who have also used you with equal success. The lady I spoke to over the phone who took my order was friendly and helpful. I phoned up on a Wednesday evening and took delivery Friday. Food was delivered beautifully packaged and flash frozen and nothing had been damaged en route. Food was delicious and portions were generous and everybody complimented it. When I heard about Life Fork and Spoon and went to the website, I expected to find a lot of expensive, complicated "cheffie" food. I was pleasantly surprised to find sensible dishes, some "everyday" but obviously prepared and offered in a caring and tasty way. The ordering system is easy to follow. The website is so easy to use. It's full of exciting ideas for very simple meals, right through to complete dinner parties. With very clear instructions on how to order and it explains fully how and when orders will be delivered, always arrive when they have said. The food is outanding and really delivers value for money. Extremely delicious food delivered direct to your door. No complicated instructions to re heat, just 15 mins from chilled into a pan of boiling water and your ready to go. Comes with coloured illustrated instructions anyway. My favourites include the ham hock, minted lamb and the stuffed chicken. My next order will include the new luxury pies! I like to think of myself as a bit of a foodie and love spending time cooking & baking, but unfortunately sometimes there just isn't the time. The meals from Lifeforkspoon are then a true lifesaver. What an amazing company, the customer service received was suburb. They were friendly, helpful and their knowledge of their products when I asked several questions was impressive.
