I ordered my sign a month and 4 days ago and the company keeps pretending to have sent it via DPD and then Royal Mail, but never provide any details of dispatch or tracking details. When I finally managed to speak to someone after calling about 25 times they told me they would refund me in full as well as sending my sign. Neither has happened. I am now reporting this company to trading standards and through Nochex.

I ordered a slate sign two months ago (and was informed it would be with me in 7 to 10 days)! I foolishly paid £80 before I read any reviews about the company. I have been lied to via "live chat", my telephone messages have been totally ignored, my emails to no avail. They take your money and have zero intention of supplying you with the product. There are countless other customers, reporting the same experience. DO not be fooled, you WILL lose your money and there is very little you can do about it!

DON'T EVER CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY! I ordered a sign 5 wks ago and my payment of £50 went through but no communication about when to expect delivery.i emailed, used the form on the website, rang many times and got an answering machine, all to no avail, never a reply back! today i got an email from Hermes saying a parcel delivery due today, i thought 'good my sign is coming'...when i open the parcel it's completely the wrong sign!! if anyone out there is waiting for Ellenthorpe Cottage sign...we have it:( i wish i had read all these negative reviews before ordering...

Ordered a simple slate house number. Didn’t arrive. Chased multiple times. Emails ignores. Eventually replied. Courier blamed. New delivery date agreed - and missed. Chased again. When it came it was unbelievably bad; patchy, mottled, green slate. Poorly painted. The invisible fixing was a poorly glued raw plug on the back - positioned so crudely. Looked like a 5 yr old had done it with their eyes closed. Unusable. Attempts to contact them to remedy the situation failed. This is the worst product I’ve ever received. Avoid like the plague!!!!

Ordered and paid for a slate sign with hidden fixings for a museum opening by Prince Edward. Arrived on time but with 4 large holes in each corner and flaking infil. Got hold of a person who apologised and said he'd send another correct sign immediately. Never got it. My colleague and I must have emailed, texted, phoned over 40 times but nothing. Got hold of someone else on the web chat who said it had been lost by couriers (yeah, right) and another one would be despatched asap. Nothing. Can't use the one sent as it has disintegrating text and wrong fittings. £250.00 down the drain. Will have to get another one done elsewhere. Do not use.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered a house sign from this company ! Exactly as described in other reviews after several weeks of waiting seller emails saying courier has damaged item and they will re make and send another out that week. Thats the last we heard from them and now no response to comms or request for refund. Its shocking that Worldpay still provide credit card services to this company who from the number of negative reviews saying the same thing suggest they are fraudulent.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, they take your money but never deliver the goods. When you try and contact them it goes straight to answer machine, they never ring back.You send a message they never reply You get a response on type talk but all they do is blame DPD for no delivery and say they will send a new sign believe me THEY WON'T!!! I've had to take it up with my bank to get a refund PLEASE DON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY AWAY TO THEM

An utterly appalling company, stay well away from them. When you're going to lie to customers about non-delivery, don't use the same excuse EVERY SINGLE time. Amazing how the couriers keep losing every parcel, isn't it? We are still missing part of our order and, quite honestly, I'm now giving up. I've raised a VISA dispute via my bank to reclaim the money instead. Interesting if you look at the premises of this business on Google Street View BTW. Hardly looks like a "quality" business, does it? Good businesses don't operate from a lock-up garage.

Same as anither comment. Paid up front. Told lost by courier, then being made as we spoke, then on Royal Mail over a month has gone by NOTHING our charity has lost £180 no joke and ruined our open day! Do not go near this company.

Highly recommend this company, ordered and paid for 2 slate signs. Called to check on the progress after 2 weeks, was advised they were out for delivery. Was told by the person I dealt with that the courier tracking would have already been sent to me (found it in my spam) Signs arrived, in all honesty the box was a bit battered, so was fearful, however opened the box and both signs had enough bubble wrap on them to do the downstairs of my house!! Amazing quality, and have recommended friends and family alike

Still awaiting delivery after numerous attempts at contacting them. Eventually I received an e-mail saying the delivery company had lost the sign and another would be dispatched by Friday! Weeks ago and no sign yet. I have asked for a refund but the company has now gone to ground.

QUALITY SLATE is a company we used once before. The sign was good but expensive. We returned for more slates. They never came. They never answer the phone. We have sent emails and they do not reply. They took our £50 and have not yet supplied. They are now going to be threatened with legal action. They are a disgrace and I can stress enough not to be used under any circumstance. They said the original signs were lost by the courier. We sent emails asking for the courier details to discuss but again no reply. We will be taking g action against them out of principle even if I costs us money. We have never been treated so badly. Watchdog will be contacted.

Nice website but this doesn't reflect anything. i ordered my sign a month ago and still am yet to receive it. They blamed the courier losing it and promised to send a replacement within 3 days. after a week i have heard nothing and am getting no replies to my email messages. They don't answer the phone either. AVOID.

I could have written this review! I ordered and paid for a sign on 16th July. I heard nothing for a week after trying every means to make contact. I received the proof and expected delivery in the next 10 days. I then received an email explaining that the courier had lost my order and another would be sent. A week after they told me I would receive it still nothing so I requested that unless I received the order within 3 days I wanted a full refund. Their response was nil. Now trying to get refund through Nochex who at the time of writing have not responded!! Avoid!!

Do not buy signs from this company. I ordered the signs in May and did not hear from the company in three months. Eventually half of the signs arrived, having been thrown in to the garden of my neighbour. I was promised a refund that i never received. See multiple reviews which are similar to mine, so clearly an ongoing problem.

Like other reviewers, I was first told the courier had lost my sign. Then I waited ages and a sign finally arrived, very nice slate, but the engraving was appalling, with bits chipped off so the paint ran over the edges of the letters, some letters squeezed up together and others too far apart. I complained, sent photos, and after many emails was promised another. It finally arrived but everything was wrong - wrong font, wrong colour lettering, and an ugly black varnish-like covering that spoilt the appearance of the slate. I was told by the person I dealt with that he would send another or refund my money, but now he is refusing to communicate with me by either phone or email. Disgraceful workmanship and disgraceful service. I would be ashamed to run my own business in such a way. Wish I had read the reviews first!

I had exactly the same experience as countless others - placed my order before reading reviews, firstly told that courier had lost order then could not get a single response from the company. Contacted the card payment company who were great and liaised for me. Told new sign would be made and dispatched. Eventually did - sign arrived broken, green not black with writing you could not see from road!! Again contacted company no response - went through payment company and finally after lots of empty promises 3 months later I finally got a refund!! I advise you liaise with payment company if you have made the mistake of ordering from this company as it will be the only way you get your money back!! Avoid this company at all costs!!!
