“Bad handles, worse service”

I bought door handles (lever latches) from John Lewis for a flat refurb, and after 3 years in normal use one pair has now failed completely - the handles no longer spring up after they have been pressed down. The finish is also looking shabby. As they were broken, I took them back to the branch of John Lewis where I bought them.
