I have these set up with my Mordaunt Short Avant 906i's and have done for many years.

An excellent analogue stereo amp.

Considering I only play flac's and bitstream DTS and AC3 re-sampled through madflac, reclocker, lav and AC3 anyone claiming these speakers don't produce a good sound is nonsense. You simply haven't got everything tweaked to perfection.

I've set up £1000+ 5.1, 7.1 media servers with superior digital output and while they obviously produce a more rounded and better sound (not to mention the re-clocking potential and up-sampling you can do) I have not been persuaded to upgrade my sound system.

In short, a solid analogue stereo amp.
