We own at Allhallows and each year this Park depreciates
but the fees go up.
In high season this Park is noisy and full of dogs. It has become shabby and neglected. The only thing we actually like about this Park is our caravan and the great view across the estuary. The roads are full of pot holes and are dangerous. Speeding traffic, dogs off lead, and dogs mess are ongoing problems yet nothing is ever done to improve these issues.
The General Manager talks a good talk, but no action!!
If you feel tempted to buy a caravan here don't believe what the salesmen tell you(they will tell you lies after lies). In truth it will cost you over £4,000 a year. This is over £3000 site fees, insurance, council rates, water, electric, gas, and annual gas checks. There are NO pitches at the back of the site which are cheaper (which they will tell you).
Once you have purchased you are a captive audience and they will offer you peanuts to buy it back and then sell it off again for what you paid for it originally. When you have £40,000 tied up in a caravan it is not easy to walk away.A word of warning is, before you buy speak to various Owners and get the real picture.
On the positive side, the food in The Pub has greatly improved this year,
but the staff don't often see the full season out. Holiday makers need to know that nothing opens up until Easter and everything closes mid November. Although the Park opens in March, you will find nothing open.
