The only gripe I have with Centre Parcs in the price. It is pricey to go there, but when you're there you can fortunately forget that!
Elvedon in Suffolk is not the closest park to us, but we were recommended it because my mother struggles with her bike at Whinfell (because of the hills) and on that basis Elvedon is great. The park is very flat and set around a lovely lake with an island in the middle (sporting a mini golf course).
We hired a deluxe villa (with hot tub) and were not disappointed the accommodation was huge (like an Alpine lodge) and after coming down early in the morning after arriving late we had a little deer outside the window (which my daughter still speaks of!).
The pool is big and there are enough bits for adults as well as kids. The other activities (too many to list here) are all well organised and reasonably priced. The food is reasonable too (a marked change since when I came as a child).
All in all other than the initial cost I have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone (if only the increased demand didn't mean it would be even more expensive next time!)
