We chose Skegness as it has direct access to the beach, however they lock the gate at 5-30, too early for us.We took four grandchildren all boys ages 10 -15 not many rides for them to go on, and the ones there were we had to pay
£5 a time.We also had to book for activities such as climbing wall ect,all payable.Entertainment well it might of been ok if we could have found a seat in any of the venues, we were there for a week and never saw one show, we complained about seating and were told they were controlled by fire regulations as to how many seats they put out, so they obviously don't care if you have a seat or not as the number of people on site must be at least four times greater than the venues can accommodate.The rooms we had were ok and the food was acceptable with a choice of at least four menus.I must say the food was the best part of the holiday but doesn't make up for our disappointment.We will not be booking again.
