“Not at all a treat!”

We booked a week long holiday, Saturday to Saturday. It took seven hours to get there and when we got into our chalet it was damp, smelly, the setee's and armchairs had brown stains of dirt on the arms, there was no blankets for the beds which were needed as we had one poxy little heater to heat the entire chalet and there was four sets of everything, four plates, four bowls ect. and we needed MORE, there was not a hanger to hang clothes that needed drying out the window, that could possibly have been a ploy to make people use their laundrette! To top it all off when we looked through the booklet we had been sent we had been allocated into the wrong chalet type but we was far to exhausted and annoyed to tell them!
The "Woodland Walk" was not at all very good, it was literally a walk of two minutes. There was nowhere to walk on the site even though it was describe as big and lively! The "putting green" is absolutely tiny! Hardly enough room for 7 holes, and no one was ever on it because of the let down of it. The swimming pool was a lot more shabbier than what it looks in the pictures, swimming attendants were all friendly and helpful and so were the stripy coats. However when we went to the club for a meal the apparant restrant was nothing more than a room with chairs and tables in it. Nothing about it gave it the atmosphere of a restraunt. Food was very pricy and we had it for takeaway out of the Chef's Corner, the portion of it was ridiculous and there was very little food! When we had a drink in the show room where all the cabaret perform the drinks were very expensive!!
I do NOT recommend going to this holiday park! Go to Sandaway Beach Holiday Park in Combe Martin, Devon. It's very good there!
