The John Fowler holiday park needs a lot of work and money spent on it. The shalets are very old, ours smelt of damp and the windows did not shut properly so we had to sleep with the heating on all night(In July). The insides of the shalets are very dated with wood effect walls and carpets from the 60's.
The entertainment was ok, but all the staff in the park were really nice.
Even though i have given the park a low rating we still had a lovely holiday. We were booked onto the park with the sun holidays, so it cost us hardly anything to stay there, was not expecting a palace for £9.50. We were out every day and evening. So the park served its purpose for what we wanted. Some where to sleep, wash and keep our clothes.
I wouldnt stay at the park if i was paying full price but for £9.50 again yes i would.
