“Great restaurant, great food but odd reaction to complaint”

I've been to this restaurant a few times, i highly recommend it. The choice of food and atmosphere is great. It's a great alternative to the Akeman, prezzo and the various curry houses Tring has, it's nice to have a different food option in Tring. The atmosphere is always buzzing if you go around 9pm at weekends, they sometimes have a belly dancer which livens things up. The chicken wing dish is great with the hot bread and Efas larger. “A breath of fresh air for people who appreciate good food”

Its about time a Tring eatery combined great food with real service.Not only do you always get a smile from Okan and his team but you know that the food is fresh and full of goodness. The variety of dishes makes it an ideal place for even the most difficult customers and the Vegetarian offering is a good as the sumptuous meat and fish dishes. Me and my girlfriend went on opening night to Meze House and the food was absolutely stunning. The restaurant was great, the wine matched the food perfectly and they staff couldn't do enough for us. We talked about how good the food was and so much so we went back within two weeks. The food was actually better in my opinion, I did not think it would have been possible. decent atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, freshly cooked food that was very tasty, made for a good evening out. As this only opened recently its clean well presented, including the facilities. Only slight negative is choice of deserts, but then it's not a strong point of Turkish cuisine anyway. Very good night out with good food. Approx £20-£25 per head (read more)

This was the first time I have been to this restaurant and we visited on a Saturday night. It is fairly new, glad I didn't leave booking too late as they seem to be popular and it was full throughout the night. The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived at the door and they were nicely attentive. Five of us ate at the Meze House to celebrate Father's Day. The food was fantastic - really task fresh meats and sides, we had the set deal for 4 and 1 extra then shared everything it was really very good. The service was also first class, the waiters were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant has only opened recently but was already fully booked when we tried to go back on Friday evening – our fault we will book next time. (read more)
