what a legendary stag, made entirely possible by the superb organisation of this company. Riga is a gem of Europe and yet relatively new on the radar, but in my opinion surely better than any other destination I have been to in Europe for a stag weekend! Could have done better own our own! Great hotel But anyone could have done that. Eight of us paid £135.00 each which is a total of £1080.00 we got told Would be a full party bus eith stripper music system Made it sound great but it was like we got on the wrong Bus and it the number 35 which goes round Newcastle. Good Day,
I had spoken to this group regarding the disappointment they had faced earlier in the day and requested they give me till the next day to get a full report from the supplier of the party bus. I see though that he has gone and written a another review on this topic.
He says that the group spent Gbp1080 in total and this would be correct however the party bus cost the group a total of GBP280,00. This included the tour of venues plus stripper. The stripper did arrive but the group never returned to the bus after they had been thrown out of the venue.
Once I have a full report regarding what had happened on the night I ll be able to see where the fault lies. If indeed it is the suppliers issue Ill make sure the group gets compensation however if it is the fault of the group due to the behavior then we cannot be held responsible.
I am happy to speak to anyone regarding this groups issues on the stag do.
The full report will be made available.

I think you should put real pictures of the bus on your web site and show how it's really is! Nothing like what you say on this web page! It's a old double decker with the same seats nothing great just an old bus! You make it out like it's VIP not!

On hearing about the groups complaints I contacted the party bus people for a report. This is there report:
Hi,
I have just had the following report from our manager who was on board on Saturday 1st June 2013;
"We did have a problem with this particular group upon arrival at the meeting point at chase. The weather was fantastic in Newcastle on Saturday and the guys had clearly been drinking heavily during the day. They were already pretty drunk by the time they came on board.
I did warn all of the groups on board the bus about not drinking to the point they can't walk straight in my welcome speech as usual and we had no problems in the first venue. The guy's seemed in high spirits, although they were a little disappointed the top floor with the group of girls on board was already full when they came out.
Upon arriving at the Quilted Camel, one of the bouncers stopped one of the group because he was too intoxicated and not because of anything to do with clothing or footwear. Unlike many other cities just about anything goes with footwear in bars in Newcastle and I myself have never seen anyone turned away for this reason. The rest of the group decided that they did not want to leave him alone outside and as the door staff were not going to budge on his entry, I advised them they should get him some water and they would be able to continue the tour again once the bus left this venue. As it happened, the guys were nowhere to be seen when it came to leaving for the third venue where the stripper was to be held and because we had multiple groups on board we were unable to delay for more than 10 minutes.
Upon arrival at the third venue, the stripper was awaiting our arrival and was then informed of the situation. She opted to wait for another 10 minutes in case they showed up and, as they did not, left as she had to attend another booking.
They genuinely seemed like a nice group of lads who'd just had a bit too much to drink, it's a shame they didn't stay long enough to have the strip and continue with the rest of the tour. The rest of the groups seemed to have an amazing night on board the bus!"
I have actually just had the following feedback from one of the other groups who were on board;
"AS WE WERE UNSURE OF WHERE WAS BEST TO HEAD, WE ARRANGED A PARTY BUS FOR MY FRIENDS HEN. WE HAD AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC NIGHT, AND THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT. WHAT A PERFECT WAY TO ENJOY A NIGHT OUT. PLUS SAVED OUT FEET !:-)"
Which I hope helps to show that we do our best to make sure that all of the groups enjoy their night, we do have to respect the door staffs decision though and if a person is deemed to be too intoxicated then their decision is final.

Had great contact with the company all the way through the booking process. Very helpful and informative. Stag weekend was fantastic was met on arrival by our guide who was very friendly and polite. Had no worries as transfers were all arranged for us. The guide showed us the city and where to go which we used as a platform for our second night. The hotel and location was good but the party bus was terrible it was ment to be a full strip party bus . There Was no stripper on the bus . They got everyone on the bus drove round the corner to a pub then the first pub For one hour back on the bus for a few mins and stopped at another pub . Here at Royal Stag Weekends we are committed to making sure our groups have a good time on the stag do. We don’t take any joy when a group is not satisfied but in this case it seems from our suppliers that the result of the dissatisfaction is due to the groups behavior on the night of which we cannot be held responsible.
This groups full and agreed upon package:
1) 3* Hotel: 2 night stay, central location
2) Party bus plus strip: PARTY BUS PLUS STRIP: Packages start between 18:30 & 20:00 Centrally Located Pick Up Point Q jump and FREE entry to each venue Silver Double Decker bus with massive sound system (as described on the party bus website)
3) Nightlife: arranged vip/guaranteed entry to 3 bars, 2 clubs and Some Like It Hot Lapdancing. Entry by 2am at Strip Club
I have requested a full report from the Party Bus Company as to what happened on the night. The initial report so far is as follows:
• Due to the group’s bad behavior at one of the venues, they were thrown out.
• The stripper did turn up but the group were actually thrown out of the bar before she came on board and did not return to the bus.
• I understand that all of the group were very drunk and it was suspected that one of them was under the influence of something else as well."
I completely agree with the writer of the review but where I disagree is that as a company we use suppliers and rely on them to deliver what has been planned and booked. I worked with this group to ensure all was planned, booked and paid weeks in advance.
On the night, the feedback from the different suppliers is that the groups behavior let them down and resulted in them not enjoying the party bus.
We cannot be held responsible for the group’s actions once they are out on the town.
The writer mentions that he was not given what was promised and he could have arranged it himself better. Firstly it took us as a company to send several reminder letters to each mate to settle their confirmation of place and the outstanding balance so the weekend could be finalized. We were flexible and allowed the group to pay well after the due date. I had prepared a full party schedule detailing the full party as we had planned and booked. In the end everything was in place but the groups actions on the night resulted in this bad review. They were kicked out of the venue and from there looked to blame our company.
I will wait for the full review from the party bus and will be posting it here as his remarks although understandable are unfair towards our company. We provide a 24 hour number to contact suppliers and ourselves should any group run into issues. I’m wondering why they never did!
We have arranged numerous stag do and never faced this situation. Anybody reading this review can see from our reviews that our groups are happy with the service we provide.
I will be happy to discuss any of these issue’s personally with anybody who is thinking about our company as a provider for a stag do.

Hi Guys,
I'm very sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the Party Bus with us on Newcastle on Saturday night. Newcastle, unlike in many other cities, is very relaxed when it comes to footwear and in my 9+ years of working in the city I have never seen anyone turned away for this reason. The door staff are responsible for the health and safety of everyone on our tour . Sadly for your group on this occasion the door staff at the second venue deemed one member of your group to be too drunk. As I'm sure we have all experienced in the past, the word of the bouncer is final and there is little our staff could do but to advise you on the best course of action available.
Our team were happy for you to return to the bus if you wished, and as you did not wish to leave your friend, advice was given to ensure he had plenty of water and for your group to return to the bus prior to it's departure in order to carry on with us. It was after this third trip that the full strip was scheduled to take place, and unfortunately as you chose not to return to the bus at this point you missed out on this aspect of the tour.
I am very glad you managed to enjoy the rest of your evening despite the difficulties you experienced and hope you would consider returning to the city in the near future.

“Dublin stag experience, go karting”

The guy who I booked with was very easy to talk to especially as we tailored everything to suit our needs. We used them for a transfer to go go karting and then the transfer to the guinness factory. The go karting was excellent and everyone loved it. We had to wait about 20 mins for transfer on way back but that is a very minor point. Would recommend them as they seemed very organised (read more)

For my stag do I went to Riga and we booked with the royal stag weekends as they seemed really good price wise and with the initial contact etc. We booked three activities for the stag do. Two which were absolutely brilliant and I would definitely recommend a bus full of strippers as an airport transfer. Here at Royal Stag Weekends we are committed to making sure our groups have a good time on the stag do. So its disappointing to us to see a review that is not at all positive when everything that was agreed upon was delivered with exception of the female guide, which I do apologize for.
This groups full and agreed upon package:
1) 3* Hotel: 2 night stay, central location in the Old Town.
2) Party bus Airport transfer with 2 strippers and 10 bottles of bubbly.
3) 2 gun option: 5 shots from shot gun, 10 shots from glock, return transfer, guide
4) Riga Nights: 4 hour pub/bar crawl (first round of beers free, lapdance club, nightclub entry, female guide.
5) One free place
Regarding the guide and you mentioning it to me and expecting some sort of gesture, I couldn't comment or offer any sort of "gesture" right away as I first had to speak to the guide and get her side of the story.
I admit she is inexperienced and for this I will offer you three nightlife vouchers that can be used in the UK. Just let me know what city. (excluding Newquay)
Besides all the rest of your comments I do value them however I feel you were unfair. From the beginning I was with you arranging, making changes when you required and was flexible to allow certain mates to pay after the due date.
Your agreed upon schedule was as follows:
Both myself and the owner of the company met you at the airport when you arrived at 22:00. You were then taken by party bus with two female strippers on a tour around Jurmala and then onto your city center hotel that was in the middle of all the nightlife.
The next day you were met by our guide and taken to the shooting range where the group took part in the arranged shooting- 2 gun option, 5 shots from shot gun, 10 from glock, return minivan transfer, guide. The reason your extra shots worked out more expensive as your group decided to then hire the modified AK47 and these rounds are more expensive. This was the groups choice to add the extra gun once on site.
That night the group was met at the hotel by our guide and taken on a 4 hour bar crawl that included one free round of beers on us. After speaking to the guide she mentioned that when she arrived all members of the group had different idea's on where to go. This makes it difficult for a guide to arrange a decent bar crawl. I do agree that she should have shown more interest as you say.
On the Sunday the group was met at the hotel by myself and the owner to say goodbye. The minivan transfer was there waiting on time to take the group back to the airport.
You gave us a 2 for value for money and I believe that the price paid per person was fair and below the average market price. You were even given your place for FREE. So when you mark us only 2 for value for money I'm not sure what else you could have wanted.
I take pride in the weekends we arrange and its sad to see you didn't enjoy the weekend at all. Riga is an amazing city and there is so much more to do than just drink.
We are thankful for any feedback from our groups as it shows where we have done well and more importantly where we can make improvements.

Just come back from my stag do to prague.brilliant company always there when you need ask for info.the organisation on the trip was outstanding transport waiting at airport.we had a brewery tour and castle tour learnt a lot about prague and saw a lot of things we would never have seen.tour guide martina more like a friend at end of tour great laugh.7 people went on stag do apartment was massive in great location nice and warm as well.fully recommend royal stag weekends very professional. Good location for the Hotel. The Go Karting was good but seems it was booked wrong (2 groups of 6 rather than 1 group of 12) and consequently we had a limited event and not much put into organisers to make it competitive fun. Also extra £190 in transport was not great, this could have been communicated better. Here at Royal Stag Weekends we are committed to offering top stag do's which is why we encourage all our groups to give us their feedback on our service.
We work really hard to make sure that every part of the stag do is arranged as agreed and that the planning is perfect to ensure a top time. We also take pride in the fact that we have professional suppliers that offer the best activities however there are times when we need to re look at our suppliers and if our groups are not satisfied look to replace them.
For this particular group we had arranged everything as per the quote.
This groups package included:
2 night stay 3* hotel
Whiskey Tour
Friday Comedy Club Entry
Indoor Karting
For the karting the venue/supplier could only fit the group in as two separate groups and not one.
Nowhere on the quote was it agreed that we would arrange transfers to the karting and this was communicated to the group via their quote and party schedule which was sent three weeks before the stag do. They spent GBP190 extra for the return transfer between 12 mates- GBP 16 per person.
We offer several different activities and this group chose the Whiskey Tour which is an educational tour of the history of whiskey. I will in the future make sure that the group understands what this tour is all about.
The comedy club we use has never had any bad reviews and I feel that maybe this club wasn't in the groups taste. I will though search for other alternative comedy clubs.
We are thankful for any feedback from our groups as it shows where we have done well and more importantly where we can make improvements.

Destination Amsterdam - package included accomodation for 2 nights, a day of activies - Quad biking and Paintballing followed by a guided bar crawl around town. Accomodation was very comfortable and suited our needs - a little way from the centre but easily accessible by transport links and taxi late at night. Royal Stag Weekends Response to the above feedback.
Here at Royal Stag Weekends we are committed to making sure our groups have a good time on the stag do. So its disappointing to us to see a review that is not completely positive when everything that was agreed upon was delivered with exception of the female guide, which I do apologize for.
This groups full and agreed upon package:
1) 3* Hotel: 2 night stay, central location
2) Quad Biking: 20 min driving, instructor, practice, guide and transfer
3) Paintball: 100 balls each, all equipment, instructor, 1beer each after the game, private transfer, female guide
4) Amsterdam Nights: 5 hour pub/bar crawl, lapdance club, nightclub entry, female guide.
Group booked last minute and we did all we could to arrange a stag do for them. This is the reason that we couldn't in the end provide a female guide as all guides were booked for that weekend or get the city central hotel as we couldn't get availability in our usual accommodation but found excellent alternative to meet the groups budget.
After speaking to the guide that took this group around, here are the comments for this group:
The group booked a full day of activities but no food was included in the package. So I'm not sure why they are upset about having to buy themselves lunch.
After speaking to the guide the group received drinks at the quads and paint ball site that was paid for by us. Anything extra that was bought is of course the bill of that group.
The guide picked up the group at the restaurant in the evening and took them to some bars in the Leidseplein area - Bulldog, Waterhall etc. People in the group had different ideas where to go so it was difficult to satisfy all of them. This happens very often so this is why we don´t have a set bar crawl route but this can be tailor made for each group.
After this the group was taken to the Red Light District for the strip club and after that to Rembrandtplein for a nightclub. They also received one free drink from us as stated in the schedule.
The guide stayed with them until 3am and obviously it was not possible to say goodbye to all of them but he did to at least half of the group. All of them had very good fun and enjoyed the night according to the members of the group.
Drinks are expensive in the Amsterdam center so the groups should be expecting this - a pint of beer is usually 4-6 EUR everywhere.
We are thankful for any feedback from our groups as it shows where we have done well and more importantly where we can make improvements.
