Bought from tackle my 8ft hedge but tried it out after delivery on a fairly routine privet about 5ft high. The machine failed to cut even this modest growth. It doest cut but tears the privet wether due to a useless cutting edge or too narrow a diameter. Machine is useless so dont even think about it. The good news is that the company I bought it from give me a full refund.
